A new and exciting role has arisen for a South African qualified Tax and Investment Funds lawyer to work in the Cape Town office of a global corporate services firm.

You will enjoy providing strategic corporate tax and private client advice to a range of international and local clients. These will include private client matters such as structuring of foreign earnings taking into account South African fiscal legislation including all aspects of personal income and capital gains tax, donation tax, and estate duty, pre and post emigration/immigration tax advice, foreign trust and retirement funding planning. Corporate tax matters will cover all aspects of domestic fiscal legislation.

You will be a South African qualified lawyer with a minimum 6 years relevant post qualification experience focusing on South African Tax as it pertains to corporate tax and private clients, together with some experience in investment funds. Ideally you can also demonstrate knowledge of financial regulatory requirements, especially within the funds arena.
